RMG Winter Closure Internal Deadlines

In line with the School of Medicine's decision to close operations for the winter closure,   the Research Management Group (RMG) offices will be closed from December 20, 2014 - January 4, 2015. RMG staff will not be available during this period. The office will re-open for business on Monday, January 5, 2015.

To ensure timely submission of sponsored project and fellowship proposals, please  note the following internal deadline:

Proposals due to sponsor between December 20, 2014 and January 7, 2015:
--A complete and final proposal package must be received by your RPM or Fellowship Manager no later than Monday, December 15.
--Please notify your RPM or Fellowship Manager immediately of your intent to submit   an application so the budget preparation and PDRF routing processes can begin.

To ensure timely budget development and contract negotiation for industry-funded clinical trials, please note the following:

Clinical Trial contracts that must be completed before December 31, 2014:
-- The contract must be fully executed by all parties Monday, December 8 in order to  allow sufficient time to issue a Notice of Award and establish the PTA  and 98-accounts.
--If you are not already working with a CT RPM or CCTO Financial Analyst on a final budget for your industry-funded study, it will be extremely unlikely that we will be able to complete the study budget and contract before the December 8 deadline.
--Contact your CT RPM or CCTO Financial Analyst if you have questions about processing of clinical trials.

In the event of an emergency situation during the closure, please leave a voicemail message at 650-723-3569. Be sure to leave a call-back number. Voicemail will be monitored and your call will be returned.
